Life-Changing
Motivation: Chris Ryan
When
motivational speaker Chris Ryan takes the stage, he’s ready to make
things happen. His delivery is never ‘canned’; every single
presentation is shaped by his uncanny ability to learn the issues most
important to
his audience.
Ryan
doesn’t do 'public speaking’, he speaks to people about what
really matters and equips them to bring about change. When you ask Chris
Ryan to speak to your group, it’s similar to engaging a benevolent
whirlwind. Always passionate about sharing worthwhile information,
he’ll ask to speak with members of your organization in advance.
He’ll spend time getting to know your audience, so that he’ll
deliver just what
they need to hear, and from their perspective.
No
matter what the topic, Ryan challenges his listeners to live by their
convictions. He believes no organization (or country) can be improved
without honestly
confronting difficult issues. He’s been known to
surprise his audiences by stopping during a speech to ask them
questions that get to the heart of their deepest issues. To Ryan, no
topic is out-of-bounds, if it stands in the way of lasting change.
He
believes that, unless he’s there to tell the whole truth, there’s no
point in walking onto the stage.
Sitting through a Chris Ryan speaking

can be life-changing, in that he challenges, probes,

Media Expert Talks to California Chiefs
Media relations and crisis communications expert Chris
Ryan shared his knowledge and insight with police and sheriffs
executives during two speaking engagements at the Annual California
Police Chiefs Association conference.
Mr. Ryan spoke about the critical issues facing police,
fire and public safety agencies in the 21st century. The well
attended sessions covered numerous topics including Homeland Security,
non-lethal weapons, aggressive news reporting and image management.
Ryan stressed the need for law enforcement agencies to face tough
issues head-on and speak-out when news coverage is skewed or inaccurate.
"Law enforcement has been a victim too long. It's time to stand up
and fight back when false allegations are made about your
department," said Ryan.
Police executives peppered Ryan with questions about
building relationships with the media, selecting a PIO (public
information officer), TASER® & non-lethal weapons & officer
involved shootings.
